The Floating Media Suite

1. Project Overview: A custom-engineered, multi-tiered architectural T.V. unit designed to serve as the structural focal point of a luxury modern living room.

2. Project Description: For this project, the client required a solution that moved beyond traditional furniture. Sellux Plaster Ltd designed and executed a fully integrated wall system that blends seamlessly into the room’s architecture. By utilizing high-gauge metal framing and premium boarding, we created a three-dimensional "floating" effect.

The unit features deep-recessed tiers to house a 75-inch screen flush with the surface, hidden internal conduits for 100% cable concealment, and custom-carved niches for peripheral devices. The entire structure was finished using our signature multi-stage skimming process, achieving a level of smoothness that is often mistaken for solid marble once painted.

3. Key Design Features:

▪️Tiered Recesses: Strategic layering of plasterboard to create depth and shadows.

▪️Integrated Ambient Lighting: Pre-wired LED channels tucked behind the "floating" panels for a cinematic glow.

▪️Zero-Joint Finish: Every corner and seam was reinforced to ensure a monolithic, crack-free appearance despite the heat generated by electronics.
